Comparasion for S355J2+AR and S355J2+N steel plate

Both S355J2+AR steel plate and S355J2+N steel plate are in steel specification EN 10025-2 and shall be done low temperature impacting test at -20 Deg.C when supplying.The chemical composition and yield strength and tensile strength requirements are the same for S355J2+N steel plate and S355J2+AR.

The main difference between S355J2+AR and S355J2+N is delivery condition when supplying,S355J2+AR steel plate,AR mens As Rolled delivery condition,and S355J2+N steel plate,N means Normalizing heat treatment delivery condition.For heavy thickness steel plate above 40 millimeters,S355J2+n steel plate is better to choose for structural frames usage.
