GB/T1591 Q420 contains five different steel grades as Q420A,Q420B,Q420C,Q420D and Q420E.Structural steel Q420D,Q420D CARBON PLATE,Q420D STEEL PLATE shall be done impacting test at low temperature minus 20 degree centigrade.Normalised heat treatment suggested to be done for low alloy steel plate Q420D in heavy thickness.
