Quenched and tempered material A537 CL2 steel plate and A537 CL3 steel plate

Pressure vessel steel materials A537 CL2 steel plate and A537 CL3 steel plate supplies from specification ASTM A537/A537M.Heat treatment with quenched and tempered shall be done for A537 CL2 steel plate and A537 CL3 steel plate.And these two steel grades also owned the same chemical composition.The main difference between A537 CL3 steel plate and A537 CL2 steel plate is yield strength and tensile strength requirements.

 

In specification ASME SA537/SA537M,there are grades SA537 CL3 and SA537 CL2 the same as A537 CL3 steel plate and A537 CL2 steel plate.In chinese specification GB/T 3531,there are also including low temperature impact test pressure vessel steel materials 16MnDR,15MnNiDR,09MnNiDR,08Ni3DR and 06Ni9DR.
